Presbyterian Youth Summer Mission
July 4-10
Galveston, Texas
This is a week long mission trip open to all youth (ages 14 and up) especially those in smaller churches who may not have such have such a transformational experience available to them.

We will be working with the recovery efforts that are still at work helping people have safe, sanitary, and secure housing and staying at our PDA Village in Texas City.

Along with the daily work on housing, we will also be cooking and cleaning up for ourselves, enjoying time together in worship, scripture, and prayer led by professional guitarist and youth leader, Charlie Lloyd.

There will also be an “Artist in Residence” who will help us be in touch with the transformation power of God through her work with art and working with each participant to use materials of our days to create a cross to remind us of this powerful experience.

If that was not enough, we will also spend an afternoon at Schlitterbahn Water Park, an evening on the beach, and a great time together.
This trip is being organized by Rev. Mark Downs of Heights Pres
and Kendal Boyd, PNC Ike Recovery Coordinator.
Youth from ages 14 and up qualify for this program along with
one chaperone for every 4 youth.
The cost is only $250 (all inclusive) for the whole week.
